Terra Remote performed comprehensive route surveys using a variety of side-scan and multibeam sonar technologies to choose the optimal route from shore to a whale listening station site, approximately 2.5 km offshore in Boundary Pass, British Columbia. The project was commissioned by Transport Canada to track endangered killer whales and measure noise impact from commercial vessel traffic.
